We were RockStars

After the winter we've had...I mean, I've seen enough snow to never wish for winter again.

So when the weather forecast showed highs in the 70's this weekend I could feel the excitement in the air.

When you get a first warm day after winter, the people here in Charlotte flock outside in droves. One of the things I love about this city. Plus, we have tons of great places that facilitate that desire to be outside.

This past week was a long one. Full-day meetings, not leaving until almost 7pm one night. So when I looked at the time on Friday & it was almost 5pm I shut down.

I pulled into one of our favorite spots and Mr. Potts was already there on the deck. A few more friends came and we sat outside in 76 degree weather until almost 11pm.

Long night, for sure!

Add to that a birthday party we went to last night where I may or may not have closed my tab twice....

We went out like rock stars.

And woke up this morning feeling very much like Mick Jagger. Phew!

Well, Mr. Potts did. I may have still been inebriated. Maybe, just maybe.

What did your weekend look like?

Isn't the morning after the worse? However, thinking about the fun is usually worth it!

Jacks? We were rockstars last night and I'm still paying for it. At least today is a holiday!

SEVENTY SIX? This is bullshit.

It was like...TWENTY here over the weekend. And it snowed yesterday.

I want to be where YOU are!

I'm so glad you're living it up. I would pay good money to be able to have a glass of wine with dinner or a beer while catching up with my DVR! Of course the baby's totally worth me being deprived, though! We had a great weekend that included a baseball game yesterday in similar weather to what you had. Can't complain ;-)
