Have you all met Stewie? He's the newest holder of the title of "World's Longest Cat" measuring in at 48 1/2 inches.

Mr. Potts and I both saw this story over the weekend and ended up almost in tears over it.
"Why?" you may ask?
We took one look at Pepe Cat and knew that he could compete for the title. Of course he could! He's long, he's fluffy, when he stretches....well, let's just say that his stretches are incredible to see.
At the opportune moment, I grabbed him up and held him close.
He began to purr - which is highly unlike him when I decide to love on him.
Mr. Potts headed for the tape measure.
Which is when Pepe Cats eyes started to get bigger and the purring stopped.
When the tape measure was pulled open & made the whirring sound I knew we were in trouble.
Pepe Cat pulled himself into a tight ball and dug his back claws into my shoulder.
"Hurry Mr. Potts! Hurry or he'll never let us do it!"
As my dear husband approached with the tape measure extended Pepe Cat let out a low growl and his head began moving from side to side.
He was looking for an escape route.
He found it, pulling his claws from my shoulder, embedding them in my upper chest and pushing off.
Dying laughing, we decided he must be at least 3 1/2 feet. Not quite World Record holder material, but we'll keep him.
Happy Tuesday!

That's long enough, aint it? Try first petting him and then measuring. He might just give in :)
I saw that cat. Crazy! And too funny about Pepe.
Hilarious! I love dinking with my cat.
That sounds like how my dog reacts when I try to dress her up in clothes!! She is wearing a shirt for our xmas card this year, if she likes it or not! I just keep practicing! :)
LOL! Cats are so fickle...
I won't even tell you about the episode of Hoarders I saw last night. The woman was the ultimate cat lady. it was disgusting.
YOU are lucky you didn't get your eyes scratched out!! love you xo
