Loves, a request

It is rare that I come here to share things about my friends. Perhaps even more rare to ask things of you all.

But this time it is so needed.

One of my best girlfriends was due to be induced on December 28th. A baby girl was going to bless her and her husband's life.

On Wednesday morning she went into labor and when they got to the hospital and the doctor checked the baby's vitals, there was no heartbeat.

The baby didn't make it and the parents are devastated.

My heart aches for them.

If you'd please, in your happiness of the next few days, please lift this family up in your prayers.

Hope you'll all have a wonderful Christmas and cherish your loved ones.

Thanks for the post. I understand your friend more than I ever wanted to. Everyday is a new day and some are good... some are really hard. That's the thing about grief-- you never know when it will rear its ugly head.

I'll keep writing if she wants to read or listen. Also, I encourage her to join "Faces of Loss, Faces of Hope" facebook page and/or their website: http://www.facesofloss.com/

It was started as a nonprofit earlier this year for women who have lost a child by a 24-year old amazing woman who lost her child to stillbirth as well. Her design was to become an advocate and platform for other women to share their stories and put a FACE to something talked about so little and almost taboo in our culture. Happens all too often as I am also a testament. Her blog is: http://dearbabycook.blogspot.com/
