A little brain mush

Y'all. I'm going through a certification right now. My*rs - Br*ggs, in case you wanted to know.

Homework. Tests.

I haven't had to do this in years & I swear today when we were prepping for the test (which you actually have to pass - all FOUR of them) I kept hearing people throw out ideas. All I could think was, "Please stop. No more. I don't want to hear your ideas, I want to know the right answers."

It was stressful.

Which leads to the following brain dump, courtesy of a little brain mush.

1. When my life gets hectic, reading & commenting on blogs slows down exponentially. Please forgive me in advance.

2. My life is about to get out of control busy.

3. Great for my career, not so much so my personal life.

4. I miss my Maddy.

5. My nephew is the cutest kid ever. He's currently loving the school bus I got him on Monday when we went to the local kid's science museum.

6. He had so much fun he kept forgetting everything we did and when he'd remember something, he'd start all over about how it was the BEST DAY EVER.

7. I wish Chick-fil-A was healthy. I know you can eat healthy'ish there, but Combo #3 doesn't count (Spicy Chicken sandwich and waffle fries).

8. I ate a salad for lunch today & one for dinner tonight. Will probably have another salad tomorrow for lunch. Choices on a time crunch, not so great.

9. Did I mention I have homework? You ladies who work & go to school amaze me.

10. I owe the two Brittany's emails back, but this may be the extent of my fun computer use for the next few days.

11. I love when Mr. Potts tells me something funny & I tell him I'm going to blog about it. Usually not a good sign for him.

12. I wish I was in NOLA with Trishy celebrating Mardi Gras. Want to send me a King Cake?

13. Speaking of King Cake, I'd really like some advice on a treadmill in the home. How much room do I really need? I need it for weeks like this week & last when I literally have 45 minutes in the morning & trying to get to/from the gym & fit it in just doesn't make sense. Any feedback or ideas?

Brain dump - kind of makes me feel better to get the little stuff out there.

I'm with you on NOLA. I want a King Cake and thought of ordering one but then ask myself.. 'really Dee? Do you really need a King Cake?'
BTW - Our LSU group is having a Mardi Gras party next weekend and anyone is welcome.
It's super fun! You and Mr. Potts would love everyone. I'll forward you the email!

I want a King Cake too- we're going to NOLA end of March and I can't wait!!
On the treadmill thing- we have a fold up one, so when stored it takes up about 3 ft by 1 ft. When unfolded its about 3ft by 6 ft? It really nice to have because we dont get out of the house much on weeknights!

I have never had a King Cake. But, I would LOVE Chick-fil-A. I may have to get some today because I am in Maryland and they actually have them!None in NYC!
Have fun with the homework. xo

Hi friend! SO glad to have found your bloggy again!

I have my treadmill about six feet (aprox) in front of my husbands big screen (yes, I must watch trash tv while working out) and while it doesn't make the rec room look to fabulous, it makes me feel so much better to get in some exercise here and there. Driving to a gym just isn't realistic for me. Like you, it just takes too much time to get there and back.

Have a great Tuesday!

xoxo-
