Not only did Mr. Potts recently celebrate a birthday, but my precious niece did as well. The day of Mr. Potts' party we celebrated her turning 6. What an afternoon fit for a birthday princess.
There were beautiful princess cakes
Let me tell you, that cake was hard to cut into to! The skirt was the cake and the Barbie was a doll that was in the middle of the skirt. Truly a birthday cake for a little princess.

She was as happy as a clam that she had so many people to celebrate her birthday. I couldn't imagine loving a little girl any more than I do her.
She loved the balloons and the celebrating. She is truly a little princess.

My Mom made me a similar cake for my 4th birthday and I totally remember it!
What a great cake!
When I was about five, I think, a friend made me a Care Bear cake that was a life-sized, 3d Care Bear! It was the coolest. At the time (January), my grandparents had gone south for the winter as they always did, and I was sad about them missing the cake, so my mother cut off the head of the bear and put it in the freezer, so they could have some with me when they came back!
