Mr. Potts asked why we needed another puppy. I explained that it wasn't that we needed another puppy - I love Hayden - but that I wanted another one. Not just any other little puppy, but a Great Dane puppy. Just like Maddy. One I could raise & train & who would snuggle with me as a baby. She was so cute as a baby - she looked like the picture below, except for a white spot in the center of her chest. And I just miss her.
I leaned over to kiss Mr. Potts on the cheek and tried to remind him how cute puppy breath is. He looked at me and said, "Well, I'll just turn over and lick your face in the morning."
I laughed for 10 minutes straight. But I'm serious about wanting another Great Dane. I just know it will be a while. I mean, how could you turn down a face like this?

Awwww they are just adorable!! I know what you mean about 'puppy fever'. Bella will be 1 in July, altho last week she weighed in a whopping 104 lbs at the vet. I'm trying to convince my hunny that since she's so big we HAVE to get another little one.. one that we can cuddle with without being stepped on and squished.
I really, really, really want a Great Dane. The only reason I don't have one yet is 1) I have no idea how much a dog that large would cost - you know, vet, food, would s/he need a crate, etc. 2) I would have to move, as my building doesn't take pets.
I even dreamed about having a puppy last week. It's getting bad. If you want, maybe we could email about what it's like to own a Great Dane? pinkpearlsandmuddysneakers at gmail :) only if you're not too busy!

Nobody could say no to those faces! We already have 2 furry children huskies) and I love them and the bred. But I have told Husband if we ever got another dog I want a great dane! Sounds kind of weird coming from a girl who 4 years ago wouldn't even pet a dog, doesn't it?
Its just to hard to resist the puppy fever!

Dane puppies are the cutest and most expressive! I just love them love them love them! You've give me puppy fever with those little faces, now!
My husband LOVES great danes. They are cute, and I like the fact that they are pretty lazy and don't require a ton of work (which is odd, you'd think bigger dogs would need the most work) but they are TOO big for me. Anything that is 200x the size of my cats is way too big :) I saw one in a store down on South Main a while back and I thought it was a horse, they are seriously so huge! :)
