An Award for Moi

I have to say that last night's Cardio Sculpt class may very well be the best one I've ever been to. I felt strong, I felt sassy (crazy to feel that way in an exercise class, but I did!) & I totally kicked that class' butt!!

My resolutioners were out in full force, but lucky for me, I pulled into the parking lot and found an amazing parking space! It was the kind of spot Mr. Potts & I would call Rock Star Parking.

Ashley over at Kiwis & Cocktails awarded me the Glamourous Blog Award. There aren't any rules associated with this award, so to make it fun, I'm going to award this & describe how I envision my first meeting with these lovely ladies. (a la MCW).

1. Brown Eyed Girl - I see us meeting in Charleston (because who doesn't LOVE Charleston) and walking through the historic distric before heading to a rooftop bar & having a cocktail while taking in all the sights.

2. Brittany from Living in the Moment - We'd meet up for a high energy cardio class (only she wouldn't be teaching it) & we'd laugh our way through it, turning to look at each other as if saying, "WTH?". We'd wrap that up & then sip on a smoothie outside in the sunshine.

3. Susannah from The Edwards Edition - She'll be right there with b.e.g. & me in Charleston, walking around, enjoying the sun & sipping drinks on the rooftop.

4. Brittany from Molly Lou Gifts - We'd meet up in a quaint city in SC somewhere & find stationary stores to wander through. I'd lean in to admire something & she'd lean in to tell me how marked up it is. Then we'd laugh, leave the store & high tail it to a coffee shop where we could sit outside in the sun (are you noticing a theme here with sunshine?) & enjoy our chat.

5. Brittany from Notes From the Grove - Since Brittany (notice another theme here with the names?) is out in Boise, I see her taking me under her wing (somehow I envision her as taller than me & as if she'd act like my older sister [although I don't have one]) and teach me how to ski or snowboard. I'd end up falling a ton & Brittany, concerned that I'd have to leave in a body cast would coax me into taking a break to drink spiked hot chocolate by a roaring stone fire place. Mr. Potts & Brent could ski all they want while we chatted away.

6. Kimmie from Full Circle - Kimmie & I would spend the day baking cookies & icing them. Once we were done, we'd venture to her outdoor living area (I may be embellishing a bit here) & we'd eat said cookies & watch Texas football.

7. Gwen from Confessions of a Control Freak - With her love of handbags, Gwen & I would quickly find the newest collections & ooh & ahh over the different bags. We'd pick them up & talk to them as if they were our babies. We'd laugh at each other & then move on to the next ones that catch our eye.

I'm ending at 7 simply because today is the 7th.

Happy Thursday! Aren't you glad the weekend is almost here?

I've never been to Charleston before! I know Sus wants to do a get together this summer, is that the suspected locale? We seriously need to plan this!

I've been lurking for awhile. And if you were to come to my town I'd take you to the Mont in God's country aka Norman.

Hahahaha!!! You are soooooooooo CUTE! Hehehe! I am all giggles up in here, can you tell?

Ok, here's the scoop:

I'm 5'3". DEFINITELY not taller than you, lol.

I've NEVER skied (spelling?) or snowboarded in my life! HAHA! I have, however, cross-countried which is pretty fun and a great workout.

But you *do* have me on the whole spiked drink by the fire thing. Can't lie about that!

If you came to Boise, we'd take you guys to some fun, swanky restaurant for dinner, then to our favorite bar to go dancing all night. Then the next day we'd do lunch at a cute little bistro and hit up our favorite vintage antique store, Shabby Chic. And then we'd end the day at a wine bar and nibble on all sorts of yummy cheeses and fruits. And I'd totally get you drunk.
