Two Questions

I have two questions for you all. One begins with "Why" (and is more of a mini rant) the other begins with "What". Let's begin.

1. Why, fellow dog owners, can you not pick up after your dog? I understand the random, "Oops! Puppy, I thought you were done!" No problem, been there, dealt with that. Yet if I continually am dodging your pet's pile, in the same area of the same street day in & day out, that's not a "Whoops" moment. I've got plenty of grocery bags, maybe I'll set a few out for you in that specific stop.

What brought on question #1? Well, when walking Hayden today, thankfully in the old slip on sports sandals we have just for that very reason, I stepped in a one of the anonymous pet's left behinds. I wanted to vomit. I would have been steaming mad had I been in my work shoes. Seriously? Just pick up after your dog!!

2. What, fellow bloggers, would you recommend for taking care of my hair? I thought I'd try the Loreal that doesn't have sulfates in it, but I don't like it. I use the Bumble & Bumble Creme de Coco for conditioner & love that, but would be open to suggestions since sometimes I switch it up. I don't mind spending money on shampoo & condioner, but don't think I'd move up to Kerastase since that is a bit out of my price range.I have naturally wavy hair that has a tendency to frizz very easily. I typically wash my hair every 3-4 days since it is really thick & takes forever to blow dry straight & then go over with either a curling iron or flat iron. So I need something that is fairly conditioning, without being too too heavy. Any styling product recommendations are welcome too!

Thank you!!

I used to use that Creme de Coco...but then it gave me back rash. Sigh. The girl I know with the prettiest hair says she just uses Mane and Tail...go figure.

I have color treated long hair- pretty thick.
My friend who is a hairstylist Recommended Alterna Cavier- moisture conditioner. It is a blue bottle. I have bought it at her salon but I have also see it at the Walmart hair places. I use it and it works well. I also only wash my hair every few days!

I just started using the Organix brand. They have several different kinds, but I am in love with the Pomegranate Green Tea. It smells fantastic too. I have curly hair and straighten sometimes because of the humidity and so far so good on both styles. (FYI-I am certainly no hair stylist). :) It is around $6.99 per bottle and at CVS the other day, they had stickers on them to get it free if you sent in your receipt. WORKS FOR ME!!!

Pick up after your dog, seriously. People would be steaming mad if I let me child poop all over the street and not pick it up.

I'm with you on the doggy thing. DRIVES ME NUTZ!
As for haircare. I'm all about Pureology. I use shampoo, conditioner, and spray gel. It's the best!

Oh, I wish I could help. I'm horrible at hair in general, products especially. My stylist has be using Aveda, and I like it better than most. It's pricy, but all around good.

And I also supplement with Organix, like MLG. For something you can get at Target, it's a steal and I love it.

I agree. Our animals are our children, we get them knowing that they are unable to take care of themselves, knowing full well that we are responsible for taking care of them and doing everything for them. This includes poop scooping, folks! So annoying. I especially hate decaying dog poop when I'm walking to and from campus and the metro. Nas-tay.

I use Sunsilk straightening/anti-frizz creme. It's awesome and super-cheap!

Oh, I'm so sorry you stepped on that! I hate it too when people don't clean up after their pets. And about the hair, mine is so thin and breakable!!! I wish it was thicker! But John Frieda has some good products, maybe give them a try?

I have really think hair that takes forever to blow straight as well. I try to was my hair just 2x a week. I just use Pantene to wash, but before I dry I use Kerastase Oleo-Relax. It is a lot, but works well and last awhile...
