Since Kelsey over at The Seattle Smith's is having to skip Wishful Wednesday this week, I thought I'd still carry on the tradition, but Potts' Style.
So in Honor of Wishful Wednesday, here we go...
Since the holidays are upon us, my post won't be the typical Wishful Wednesday post with a single topic, but a plethora of wishes for everyone.
I Wish...
For you, my friends: I wish for good health for you and happiness in your heart. I wish for you all the opportunity to experience pure joy on a daily basis. I wish you success in all of your endeavors. I wish you love.
For you, my two Brittany's (Brittany Ann & Brittany): I wish for the safety of our military members and strength for their spouses. I truly appreciate not just what they do (or will do) but also the support that you provide them.
I wish that women every where would be able to stop comparing themselves to each other & sometimes tearing each other apart. In this crazy world we live in, how wonderful would it be to support our sisters rather than breaking them down?
I wish that we all would take the time to pay it forward, as Whitney wrote about recently for Good Will Grace. Sometimes, even a kind word is a great way to pay it forward.
I wish that people around the world would take a moment to tell the people who matter to them that they matter. These little things mean the world to people and you never know when you may not have the chance to do so.
I wish that we would all volunteer our time more. Spend time with children who may need your time to help them with their homework. Spend time with your grandparent. Spend time with elderly people who may not have many visitors in a retirement home. Spend time with women who have been abused. It's easy to give money, but your time can sometimes be worth even more.
****************************************************
In my own way, I'd like to pay it forward to you all, dear friends. I'll be announcing a new giveaway each Thursday of December (12/3, 12/10, 12/17 & 12/24) with the winner to be picked on Fridays (12/4, 12/11, 12/17 & 12/25) through Christmas Day.
Each winner will receive a different gift, which I'll detail on Thursday. The only thing you'll need to do is comment on Thursday's post & I'll announce the winner in conjunction with Fabulous Friday (because really, aren't winning things fabulous?).
Happy Wednesday everyone!

I am thinking about volunteering on xmas to serve dinner to the homeless at a restaurant near by... We did it ONCE when I was younger as a family...and Now, my husband and I don't really have anything to do on Xmas day until the late afternoon, so I am looking into it!
